Epstein Emails Reveal Request for Trump Aide's Child Photo
Epstein asked Trump aide for child photo in emails

Recently disclosed correspondence from the House Oversight Committee has revealed disturbing new details about Jeffrey Epstein's interactions with powerful figures, including a direct request for a photograph of a top Trump aide's child.

Shocking Email Exchange with Trump Ambassador

In one particularly troubling exchange with Tom Barrack, a private equity investor who later became Donald Trump's ambassador to Turkey, Epstein explicitly asked for personal family photographs. Epstein wrote: 'Send photos of you and child - make me smile.' according to the released emails.

The correspondence shows that Barrack had initiated contact with the convicted sex offender, messaging first with: 'Hope ur [sic] good. Let's catch up.' Approximately an hour after his initial request for child photographs, Epstein followed up with another email referencing both Trump and Bill Clinton.

Epstein's Claims About Trump and Clinton

In his subsequent message, Epstein stated: 'Hope you are well. Photos look good. FYI I receive many calls a week about Donald ([REDACTED], Marla, beauty contest, Mar-a-Lago etc) and Clinton.' He added that his standard response was to claim he had 'nothing to say' or to 'try to ignore altogether' such inquiries.

Perhaps most alarmingly, in a 2011 email to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein asserted that 'Virginia [Giuffre] spent hours at my house with Trump.' Giuffre, who was recruited by Maxwell while working as a spa attendant at Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club in 2000 when she was just 16 years old, died by suicide earlier this year.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has dismissed the document release as a politically-motivated 'smear' campaign and highlighted Giuffre's previous statements that absolved Trump of wrongdoing. Trump did not send or receive any of the published emails and hasn't faced criminal charges related to Epstein or Maxwell.

Wider Network of Powerful Connections

The documents reveal Epstein maintained correspondence with numerous high-profile individuals over at least eight years, including former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers. In one 2019 exchange, Summers discussed interactions with a woman, writing to Epstein: 'I said what are you up to. She said "I´m busy". I said awfully coy u are.'

Epstein replied: 'You reacted well.. annoyed shows caring. No whining showed strentgh[sic].' Summers has since issued a statement expressing 'great regrets' and calling his 'association with Jeffrey Epstein a major error of judgement.'

Despite pleading guilty in 2008 to soliciting prostitution from an underage girl, Epstein's criminal record didn't diminish his access to wealthy and influential circles. The newly released emails show associates continued reaching out to him for support during lawsuits and prosecutions, while others sought his advice on matters ranging from dating to oil prices.

Epstein was charged with sex trafficking in 2019 and died by suicide in jail one month later. The documents don't implicate his contacts in criminal activities but illustrate the extent of his network during his years as a registered sex offender. The Daily Mail has contacted the State Department regarding Barrack's appearance in the emails.
