Darrell Sheets' Cause of Death Revealed as Suicide

The cause of death for Storage Wars star Darrell Sheets has been revealed following his death at the age of 67 last month.

The reality TV personality, affectionately known as "The Gambler" for his risky purchases on the popular A&E show, was found deceased at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

According to the Lake Havasu Police Department, officers responded to a residence in the 1500 block of Chandler Drive at approximately 2 a.m. on April 22, 2026, following a report of a deceased individual. Upon arrival, they located a male subject who had suffered what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office has since ruled his death as a suicide, as reported by TMZ.

Sheets had previously been open about his health struggles. In a 2019 Instagram post, he revealed he had suffered a mild heart attack and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and a severe lung issue. He also admitted to being a closet diabetic, warning fans to pay attention to their health.
