Adam Thomas has been seen after he declined to appear on This Morning, where his campmate Craig Charles expressed fears that the actor might have 'attacked' Jimmy Bullard during their heated exchange. The Waterloo Road star, 37, was photographed in Covent Garden, London, on Friday morning, where the programme is based, following his no-show.
Adam's Tense Appearance
Skipping the studio, Adam appeared tense, with his wife Caroline by his side offering support. The actor, who recently revealed he is undergoing therapy as a result of his jungle experience, wore blue denim trousers and a cream printed jacket, with sunglasses shielding his eyes. His refusal to appear on air with Craig, 61, comes just hours before he is due to reunite with his campmates at the I'm A Celebrity finale.
The Row with Jimmy Bullard
Adam and Jimmy Bullard, 47, clashed during a Bushtucker Trial in the pre-recorded South Africa-based show last year, when Jimmy refused to participate, jeopardising Adam's position as they were partnered. Craig Charles broke down as he criticised ITV for 'watering down' the aggressive and traumatic row. He said: 'They watered down the Jimmy Bullard incident, it was unbroadcastable as it was. It was deeply traumatic and really upsetting. Adam was so wound up, he was so aggressive, like a coiled up spring, it looked like he was going to attack Jimmy. He was dropping f-bombs and c-bombs... It really was traumatic and they couldn't broadcast it.'
Adam's Therapy Revelation
This week, Adam emotionally revealed on his podcast that he is receiving therapy due to his feud with boxer David Haye. Breaking down in tears, he said: 'It was like being back in school again. He was just mind f***ing me. I'm not the same person as I was when I went into the jungle. It's changed me. I'm in therapy now because it's f***ed with me mentally.'
Craig Defends Campmates
During his This Morning appearance, Craig addressed bullying claims, stating that campmates were unaware of Adam's distress. He said: 'ITV have a duty of care. They didn't think he was getting bullied enough to step in. We didn't see it until that final morning when I thought David got a bit nasty. I saved Adam knowing the other two would not pick David, ensuring David went home.'
Jimmy Bullard's Planned Revenge
Jimmy Bullard is reportedly seeking revenge after the clash aired, planning to give his version of events during the finale. A source told The Sun: 'He knows the truth and won't be toeing ITV's line.'
