Several of Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan's A-list stars posed together on Wednesday evening at The Icons of Taylor Sheridan's Universe event, held in New York City by Paramount+. The stars were seen arm in arm, showcasing the network's hit shows that have been renewed for new seasons.
Who Attended?
From left to right, the lineup included Beau Garrett, Michelle Randolph, Ali Larter, Zoe Saldana, and Nicole Kidman. Each star represents a different series within Sheridan's expanding television universe.
Beau Garrett from The Madison
On the far left is Beau Garrett, star of the new smash hit series The Madison. The show follows a family's grief after losing their powerful patriarch. The synopsis reads: 'A heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River Valley of Central Montana.' The drama also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Matthew Fox, and was recently picked up for another season due to strong viewership.
Michelle Randolph from Landman
Next came Michelle Randolph, 28, who appears in Landman alongside Billy Bob Thornton. She plays his wild but well-meaning daughter Ainsley, who adjusts to life in West Texas as her dad works in the booming oil business. The synopsis states: 'Deep in the heart of West Texas, roughnecks and wildcat billionaires try to get rich quick in the oil business as oil rigs begin to dominate the state. Crisis executive Tommy Norris tries to bring his company to the top during a fueling boom.' Randolph is also known as the sister of Bachelor veteran Cassie Randolph and for dating movie star Glen Powell. She previously appeared in Sheridan's Yellowstone prequel 1923.
Ali Larter from Landman
Next to Randolph was Ali Larter, also on Landman. She plays Angela Norris, the spitfire wife of Thornton's character and mother to Ainsley. Larter, 50, rose to fame in her twenties with films like Legally Blonde and Varsity Blues.
Zoe Saldana from Lioness
Then there was Zoe Saldana, star of Lioness. She plays CIA operative Joe McNamara, who trains women to be part of a spy program. Often she is out in the field working on missions alongside her lioness; every season a new lioness is followed. At home, she deals with her surgeon husband and two young daughters who feel the pain of her absence. A new season has been greenlit and will debut later this year.
Nicole Kidman from Lioness
Last was Nicole Kidman, 58, also on Lioness. The Australian Oscar winner plays Kaitlyn Meade, the CIA's Senior Supervisor who has had a long career playing the politics game.
Taylor Sheridan's Expanding Universe
Sheridan, a former actor, found fame behind the scenes with the 2015 film Sicario and the 2016 film Hell or High Water. He hit the jackpot with his very popular series Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner. He is also the writer, director, and executive producer of multiple Paramount Network series, including the Yellowstone prequels 1883 and 1923. He oversees Tulsa King and is now working on Frisco King, a Tulsa King spinoff starring Samuel L. Jackson set in Frisco, Texas. In May, his Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch, starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, debuts. Already on the air is the Yellowstone spinoff Marshals with Luke Grimes.
