P.Louise founder raises £70k for Cash for Kids, helping 25,000 children
Beauty founder Paige Louise raises £70k for Christmas charity

Beauty and lifestyle entrepreneur Paige Louise Williams, the founder of the P.Louise brand, has spearheaded a major charitable effort this festive season, raising a substantial £70,000 for the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal. Her campaign is set to bring joy to thousands of disadvantaged children across Greater Manchester.

A Heartfelt Plea Leads to Massive Fundraising

At the start of December, Paige issued an urgent call for support after discovering the charity's warehouse shelves were virtually empty. Faced with the prospect of over 32,000 children potentially waking up without a gift, she was moved to act. "I grew up watching my mum struggle, but there was always something waiting for us on Christmas morning," Paige explained. "When I saw how many children may wake up with nothing this year, I knew I couldn’t stand back."

She immediately pledged £1 from every full-price order on the P.Louise website to the cause and donated high-demand stock from her own business, including Advent Calendars and pyjamas. This initiative is not her first; her generosity has grown significantly each year, with donations of £20,000 in 2023 and £40,000 in 2024.

Shopping Spree Transforms Empty Shelves

To spend the impressive £70,000 sum, Paige and her entire team embarked on a large-scale toy shopping trip to Smyths Toys. Their trolleys were filled with a wide array of gifts to cater to all ages and interests, including:

  • Disney princess dolls and Sanrio toys
  • Minecraft sets and Fisher-Price items
  • Wooden play kitchens and huge unicorn teddies
  • Baby dolls, mystery bags, and Stitch merchandise

The team then delivered the haul to the Cash for Kids warehouse, where volunteers helped sort the donations by gender and age group. The transformation from empty shelves to stocked aisles was dramatic, bringing cheers from the charity's staff.

Community Rallies Behind the Cause

Paige's decision to use her platform publicly created a ripple effect, inspiring her community to contribute. "Giving back has always been huge for me," she said, "but with the sense of urgency this time, I knew I had to speak up." Her influence was noted by supporters in the comments of her social media posts, with one person stating, "this is how you influence people" to do good.

The funds have made significant progress against the initial target. While 25,000 children still need gifts, the campaign has already drastically reduced the number from the starting point of 32,000. A volunteer emphasised the impact, noting it will make a "huge difference to children across Greater Manchester."

Cash for Kids' Mission Christmas is a UK-wide campaign delivering presents to children in need. With demand at a record high, Paige continues to encourage public donations, stressing that no gift is too small to help ensure no child goes without this Christmas.
