Rylan Clark has shared a series of romantic photographs from his holiday in the Maldives with his new boyfriend, Kennedy Bates. The TV presenter posted the images on Instagram on Friday, showing the couple enjoying their luxury trip at the Adaaran Select Meedhupparu hotel.
The snaps included a hotel room bed decorated with rose petals and a sign reading 'Welcome home Rylan & Bates', as well as pictures of Kennedy lying on the beach, the pair toasting by the sea, and a shot of Rylan shirtless with a heart painted on his back in suncream. Rylan captioned the post: 'You were perfect. New year, new friends, new beginnings.'
Fans and celebrity friends flooded the comments with supportive messages. Zoe Ball wrote, 'Love this love for you Baby', while Rob Rinder teased, 'This is the standard I had in mind for you.' Josie Gibson posted red heart emojis, and Lizzie Cundy joked, 'Am I going to be bridesmaid, or what?'
Rylan, 37, went public with his relationship with Kennedy, 48, last August during an interview on Louis Theroux's podcast. Kennedy is the boss of Billy Bates & Sons funfair in Leicestershire. Rylan told Louis he had been 'blatant' about the romance, going on multiple public dates that 'nobody noticed'. The couple have already discussed starting a family together, Rylan revealed.
The holiday comes five years after Rylan's divorce from Dan Neal, following his admission of infidelity. Rylan said of his new relationship: 'It's the first person I've met in four years that I've introduced to my family. I'm happy.'
