Zelensky explained that these operations form part of a broader strategic effort to assist partner nations in countering the same types of weapons that Russia has extensively deployed against Ukraine. The Ukrainian forces utilised domestically produced interceptor drones that have been rigorously battle-tested in the ongoing conflict, alongside deploying specialised military personnel to conduct these active operations abroad.

Ukraine has provided critical defence support to multiple countries across the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan.
