Blair's Statement of Commitment

In a formal statement, Sir Tony thanked President Trump for his leadership in creating the Board of Peace. "I thank President Trump for his leadership in establishing the Board of Peace and am honoured to be appointed to its executive board," he said.

He went on to praise his future colleagues, stating: "It’s been a real privilege to work with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner and their outstanding team. I look forward to working with them and other colleagues in line with the president’s vision to promote peace and prosperity."

The 20-Point Plan for Gaza

Central to the board's mission is the implementation of President Trump's proposed strategy for the region. Sir Tony Blair characterised the president's 20-point plan for Gaza as an "extraordinary achievement."

However, he acknowledged that turning the plan into reality would require significant effort, noting that its implementation will take "enormous commitment and hard work." The board's formation represents a concerted push to bring this detailed roadmap to fruition and secure a lasting peace in the troubled territory.
