Lindsay Lohan's Dramatic New Look Sparks Surgery Rumours Amid Makeup Trick Claims
The entertainment world is abuzz after Lindsay Lohan, the iconic Mean Girls actress, posted new images on Instagram that reveal a strikingly different appearance. At 39 years old, the Hollywood veteran shared two photos from a glam session with her team, but fans were quick to note she barely resembled her former self. This transformation has ignited widespread speculation, with many pointing to a possible old makeup trick popularised by Kylie Jenner as the culprit.
Makeup Technique or Surgical Intervention?
In the images, it appears Lohan may have overlined her lips before filling them in with lipstick and gloss, a technique famously used by Jenner to create a fuller pout. Observant followers immediately commented on the change, with one writing, 'You lips look WAY bigger mama,' and another questioning, 'You never look the same anymore, what up?' The star's altered look has also led to renewed whispers about potential plastic surgery, a topic she has vehemently denied in the past.
Back in May, Lohan and her publicist forcefully addressed 'mean' speculation that she had undergone a facelift in her late thirties. They insisted she 'had no time' for such procedures, attributing her incredibly taut complexion and youthful demeanour to a healthy lifestyle instead. Her publicist dismissed the claims as coming from 'jealous haters,' despite the visible changes that have prompted debate among fans and critics alike.
Denials and Lifestyle Explanations
Earlier this year, Lohan was compelled to confront ongoing rumours head-on, maintaining that her looks are solely the result of improved health and wellness. Her publicist elaborated, stating, 'The second she looks any different, they assume she had her face lifted at 37 or 38, that she ripped apart this or that. It's so mean.' Lohan herself echoed this sentiment, questioning rhetorically, 'I'm like, "When? With what time? Where?"'
The publicist further explained, 'I tried to figure that out, Linds, in the last three years, when you had time to do anything, because I know your schedule... So the haters can hate and be jealous. It just sucks that that's where they go with women in today's world. Women can't just look good to look good and change their lifestyle to be more healthy.'
Health and Skincare Regimen
On the topic of her skincare, Lohan, who is a mother to son Luai with husband Bader Shammas, revealed that motherhood significantly altered her routine. 'My skin changed after having my son. It got really sensitive. That's what really made me change my whole routine and diet and everything,' she shared. In an interview with Elle, the actress, now residing in Dubai, detailed her extremely healthy diet and lifestyle, which she credits for her radiant appearance.
Her daily regimen includes a morning juice blend of carrot, ginger, lemon, olive oil, and apple, along with copious amounts of green tea and water. She also admitted to being a 'big pickled beets person,' incorporating them into nearly every meal. Regarding her skincare, she emphasised, 'It's taking a long time because I'm very specific, because I'm crazy about my skin and health.'
Life Evolution and Move to Dubai
Lohan's image transformation is not the only aspect of her life that has evolved. She confirmed her permanent move to the United Arab Emirates in April 2020, after living in Dubai for the better part of seven years. The actress fell in love with the city's safety and privacy, factors that have contributed to her newfound sense of calm.
Her husband, Bader Shammas, a Credit Suisse financier and Dubai resident, shares this home base. Lohan told Vogue in 2022, 'It just really happened, how I moved to Dubai. I got there, and I felt a certain sense of calm. I think it's because paparazzi is illegal there. I really found that I had a private life, and I could just take time for myself... I decided to stay there because I really learned to appreciate what it is to go, do my work, and then leave and live a normal life.'
The actress first visited Dubai in 2008 for the launch of Atlantis, the Palm, and she credits the city with providing a better quality of life. This move, combined with her health-focused lifestyle, underscores the broader changes she has embraced, even as her appearance continues to spark debate and fascination among the public.
