Speaking to BBC Scotland as he prepares for an upcoming UK tour, Fisher disclosed that his weight loss journey began after he was diagnosed with diabetes. Medical professionals advised him that shedding some pounds would be beneficial for his health. "I've lost quite a lot of weight because I was told I was diabetic and it might be good if I could lose a couple of pounds," he explained. However, the actor has found an unexpected silver lining in his changed appearance, stating, "I quite like not being recognised by people nowadays, actually."
