In her forthcoming memoir titled "Famesick," Lena Dunham has made startling allegations about Adam Driver's conduct during the production of the HBO series "Girls." Dunham, who created and starred in the show, claims that Driver, who portrayed her on-off boyfriend, exhibited difficult and occasionally violent behavior on set.
Incidents of Aggression Detailed
Dunham recounts a specific incident where Driver allegedly threw a chair at a wall directly next to her during a line-reading session, accompanied by screaming. She describes this as part of a pattern of outbursts, including another occasion where Driver punched a hole in his trailer wall because he disliked his haircut.
Intimate Scenes and Aftermath
The memoir also alleges that Driver was aggressive during intimate scenes, with Dunham stating he would "hurl me this way and that." Despite these tensions, Dunham notes that after filming his final scene, Driver told her he would "always love" her. However, she reveals that she "never heard from him again" following that moment.
These claims add a new layer to the public perception of the acclaimed series, which aired from 2012 to 2017. Dunham's allegations suggest a tumultuous behind-the-scenes dynamic that contrasts with the show's on-screen portrayal of relationships.
