A little-known United States Navy base on the East Coast has allegedly been the secret repository for a mysterious unidentified craft for decades, according to explosive new claims. Sources suggest the military has been working to unlock the vehicle's advanced, potentially non-human, technological secrets.
The Secret at Pax River
According to a report citing anonymous sources linked to the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland, commonly called Pax River, has for years housed an "exotic vehicle of unknown origin." The sources indicated that programs at the base have been involved in analysing and attempting to exploit technology recovered from non-human craft.
NAVAIR, headquartered at Pax River, is the US Navy's central command for all naval aircraft, weapons, and aviation systems. The sources told the Liberation Times that this sensitive activity has attracted unwanted attention, with both Chinese drones and non-human UFOs allegedly attempting to spy on the base. This surveillance activity is said to have recently increased and moved closer to land, including the immediate vicinity of the Chesapeake Bay installation.
Whistleblower Testimony and a Contingency Plan
While the Daily Mail could not independently verify these claims, they align with sworn testimony from prominent UFO whistleblower Luis Elizondo. A former senior intelligence official who led the Pentagon's secret Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Programme (AATIP), Elizondo told Congress that a specially built hangar was constructed at Pax River to facilitate the transfer of extraterrestrial technology.
Under oath, Elizondo described a plan where this hangar would help defence contractor Lockheed Martin move non-human technology to Bigelow Aerospace for further study. However, anonymous sources claim these transfers were blocked by a former CIA director of science and technology. The report adds that the US government allegedly has a secret contingency plan to move the unidentified craft if its location at Pax River is compromised.
A History of Claims and Mysterious Drone Swarms
Elizondo's 2024 testimony to Congresswoman Nancy Mace asserted that the US government maintains clandestine programmes to recover crashed spacecraft and has successfully reverse-engineered some of this technology. His claims are supported by other figures like physicist Dr Hal Puthoff, who stated last year that the US military has recovered more than ten spacecraft since the 1947 Roswell incident.
These unverified claims emerge in the context of recent unexplained aerial phenomena over the East Coast. Between November 2024 and early 2025, thousands of reports described large, silent 'car-sized drones' flying over New Jersey, including near former President Trump's property, and other sensitive sites. While an unnamed private firm later took responsibility, calling them tests of advanced aerial craft, their origin and purpose initially remained a complete mystery.
The US military has consistently stated there is no physical evidence of recovered UFOs. Yet, the persistent allegations from former officials like Elizondo, coupled with the mysterious drone swarms and new reports about Pax River, continue to fuel speculation about what secrets may be held behind closed doors at America's defence installations.
