The 29-year-old television personality took to her YouTube channel on Monday to share details about her upcoming full body MRI scan and the specific health issue she planned to address during the medical appointment.

Zara disclosed that in recent weeks she had noticed a small lump under her armpit, though she described it as feeling more like a swollen gland than a traditional lump. "I am... I wouldn't say I'm massively health anxious as such," she explained during her video. "I'm not health anxious am I. Health conscious. I also have had this tiny little, it's not a lump, under like my armpit. I don't know if it's like a gland or something."
The reality star confirmed she intended to ask medical professionals to specifically scan and examine this area during her appointment. She admitted to sleeping poorly before the scan, describing herself as "a tired girlie today" as she prepared for the medical procedure.
Preventative Health Initiative
Zara detailed her decision to undergo a comprehensive full body MRI scan, explaining that she and her friend Daisy had discussed preventative health measures over the Christmas period. "We were talking about preventative health and getting on our A-game this year," she revealed. "And we got onto the subject of these scans. Both of us were like 'Let's do it together'."
The process took approximately one month to arrange, with the appointment finally scheduled for late January. Zara expressed anticipation about receiving her results, noting she had seen similar scans advertised on social media platforms like Instagram.

Later in the same video, Zara provided viewers with an update following her completed scan. "Hi guys so I just had my scan, just finished it," she shared while showing the medical garments provided for the procedure. "Yeah I'm looking forward to getting my results. That was such a nice clean simple experience."

This latest health concern emerges just over two years after Zara first revealed her osteoporosis diagnosis, a debilitating condition affecting approximately 3.5 million people in the United Kingdom. Osteoporosis gradually weakens bones over several years, making them fragile and susceptible to fractures, with nearly two-thirds of sufferers being women.
In November 2023, Zara informed her followers about detecting "early signs" of the disease, noting that both her mother and grandmother had been diagnosed with the same condition. "I recently found out I have early signs of developing osteoporosis," she explained in an Instagram clip. "So I started making switches to get more calcium in my diet."
Recovery Journey
The television personality has faced significant health challenges related to her osteoporosis diagnosis, including a tibia fracture that required medical intervention. In December 2023, she shared images from hospital following a procedure to repair bone damage, with doctors warning that additional surgeries involving metal screws and plates might be necessary to properly fuse her leg bones.
By March of last year, Zara provided a more optimistic update about her recovery progress. "The good news is that there is some small evidence of healing! Yay!" she announced on Instagram. "However, the bone surrounding the fracture is under a lot of tension/pressure... whatever that means."
She opted for a natural healing approach rather than immediate surgery, utilizing a medical boot and crutches for several months to reduce pressure on her injured leg. "Surgery is still an option," she clarified, "but I've opted for the most natural route which is to try and help it heal on its own."
This recovery strategy required Zara to cancel several work commitments to prioritize her healing process. "I've had to pull out of a few work things over the next few weeks," she acknowledged, "because I know I need to prioritise my leg healing, but I'm hoping this is the beginning of the end now."
