Olivia Attwood Confirms This Morning Return in 2026 Despite Health Battle
Olivia Attwood confirms This Morning return for 2026

Reality television star Olivia Attwood has provided fans with a significant update about her future on ITV's This Morning while battling a persistent illness that recently forced her to withdraw from Loose Women.

Health Struggles Force Schedule Changes

The 34-year-old Love Island alumnus revealed she has been fighting multiple health issues, including a chest infection, strep throat, and what she described as "some fly type thing" that she has struggled to shake. Attwood admitted feeling at "death's door" due to the combination of ailments but emphasised her determination to return to work as soon as possible.

Her health problems recently necessitated pulling out of her scheduled appearance on Loose Women, prompting her to apologise to disappointed fans. Sharing an image of a medical professional, she explained that her body had "finally said no" after pushing through illness.

Exciting ITV Future Confirmed

During a Sunday Instagram Q&A session where fans inquired about both her career and marriage to footballer Bradley Dack, one follower directly asked: "Are you still going to be a presenter on This Morning?"

Attwood provided a clear and enthusiastic response: "Yeh I'm coming back for more - can't get rid of me now 2026." This confirmation builds on her earlier announcement made on the This Morning sofa back in June, when she revealed her new role to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shepherd.

During that June appearance, engineered by Shepherd who teased "We've got some big news about This Morning and you in the summer," Attwood shared her excitement about joining the hosting team. The moment was marked by the presenters inviting her to switch to their side of the famous sofa, with Cat Deeley complimenting "We look amazing together" and prompting Attwood to suggest they host a show together.

A Natural Progression in Broadcasting

Elaborating on her new position during the June announcement, the television personality described it as "a couple of shows" and expressed her honour at joining the established programme. "I've grown up watching this show," she explained, "and being part of the ITV presenting team with Loose Women has been a great experience so this just feels like a very natural progression."

Despite her current health challenges, Attwood remains characteristically determined. In a recent TikTok update, she revealed her struggle with being ordered to rest for 24 hours, describing herself as "the firstborn daughter, first granddaughter, Taurus" who doesn't like to listen to anyone, including her own body. "I just don't like being defeated," she confessed, acknowledging that this particular illness had managed to do just that.

With her health gradually improving and her 2026 return to This Morning firmly confirmed, fans of the popular broadcaster can expect to see much more of her on their screens in the coming year.
