Kremlin Open to Temporary Ceasefire

During a phone call with Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin proposed a temporary ceasefire to mark Victory Day. Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said the call lasted over an hour and a half and was conducted in a friendly manner. Trump actively supported the initiative, noting the holiday marks the common victory over Nazism in World War Two.
