Ludacris Talks Bieber Reunion, Brings Stars to Carbone Beach
Ludacris on Bieber Collab, Star-Studded Carbone Beach Show

Ludacris took the stage at the star-studded American Express Presents Carbone Beach party in Miami Friday night with a slew of surprise performers. Jamie Foxx, DJ Khaled, Wyclef Jean, Fat Joe, and even comedian Kevin Hart joined the "Stand Up" rapper to make the starry guest list dance all night with their hit tracks.

But before Ludacris performed alongside the talented celebs onstage, he reflected on one of his previous collaborators, Justin Bieber, on the red carpet. In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, the "Money Maker" rapper, 48, said that he is on board to work with Bieber, 32, again but admitted the opportunity just hasn't presented itself yet.

"I wish that was totally, 100 percent up to me," Ludacris explained. "We've had a collab - I'm saying, hopefully we can have another one. We'll see."

Bieber recently went viral for his Coachella Festival set, in which he sang alongside snippets of old YouTube clips. The performance was deemed creative and unique by some fans, but others labeled it lackluster and boring. Ludacris spoke exclusively to the Daily Mail at the red carpet for American Express Presents Carbone Beach in Miami Friday night. Ludacris told the Daily Mail exclusively that he is totally on board with doing another collaboration with Bieber.

Ludacris told the Daily Mail that he didn't have any opinions on Bieber's showcase because he hasn't had an opportunity to check it out yet. "I honestly didn't get a chance to see it yet - I think I had a show at the same time. I've gotta go back and watch it," he shared.

Ludacris witnessed Bieber's performance chops in real time, however, during Super Bowl LX weekend in San Francisco back in February. The "Act a Fool" rapper was scheduled as the headliner for the Sports Illustrated party and the audience got a special treat when Bieber jumped onstage to perform "Baby." Ludacris admitted to the Daily Mail that their reunion was totally "impromptu."

On Friday, the guest appearances Ludacris shared with the Carbone Beach partygoers were very much planned, though. He told us on the carpet that he knew he would have Fat Joe joining him and therefore wore the "What's Luv" rapper's TS Air Force One sneakers in his honor. "He will say you're not supposed to wear them but I say, 'If you cop them, you got to rock 'em,' and so in honor of this man ... it's a surprise to everybody else, but it's an honor, man. It's an honor," the "What's Your Fantasy" rapper added. The duo first paired up with their 2010 hit "Baby."

Ludacris was the headlining act at the star-studded Carbone Beach party. However, he brought several of his talented friends onstage, including Jamie Foxx, Kevin Hart, DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, and Wyclef Jean. Ludacris's remarks come shortly after Bieber's viral Coachella headlining gig.

Aside from all of the star power onstage Friday night, many celebs, including exes Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios, filled the glamorous maroon room. The former couple, whom Daily Mail exclusively spotted mingling at the Sports Illustrated party at the Four Seasons the night prior, seemed to do their own thing at Carbone Beach. Earle was seen mostly hanging with her sister and close friends.

Other notable attendees at the fête were Hailey Bieber, Draymond Green, Kevin O'Leary, Stassi Schroeder, Cait Bailey, Jessie Murph, DJ Irie, and Bethenny Frankel - who brought her new beau. Major Food Group co-founders Mario Carbone, Jeff Zalaznick, and Rich Torrisi were also present.

Ludacris' headlining performance will be followed by two more big acts on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, as the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix celebrations rage on. The races, in which drivers Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Pierre Gasly, Fernando Alonso, and more are competing, conclude on Sunday.
