Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien debuts stunning brow transformation

Coronation Street favourite Tina O'Brien has left her social media followers in awe after unveiling a dramatic and 'stunning' new look.

A Fresh-Faced Revelation

The actress, who is 42 and has played Sarah Platt on the ITV soap since 1999, showcased the results of a professional eyebrow procedure over the weekend. The transformation was shared via a joint post on her Instagram account by Cheshire-based brow technician Sarah Harley.

Harley posted a photo of herself posing with a fresh-faced O'Brien, along with footage of the process. The technician used the caption to reveal she had given the star 'brand new Ombre Brows', adding it was a 'dream' to work on the transformation and praising 'the POWER of the brows'.

Co-Stars and Fans Rave About New Look

Tina O'Brien expressed her delight in the comments, writing: 'Absolutely love them thank you.' Her Coronation Street colleagues were quick to compliment the change.

Toyah Battersby actress Georgia Taylor called the brows 'perfectly balanced and gorgeous', while Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, exclaimed: 'Come on!!! Absolutely STUNNING.'

From Awards to the Cobbles

Tina O'Brien first joined the Coronation Street cast at sixteen, taking over the role of Sarah Platt. She won Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards in 2000 for her portrayal of Sarah's teenage pregnancy storyline, a plot which also won Best Storyline at the British Soap Awards.

After leaving the show in 2007, she returned in 2015. Her character has been central to many major plots, including the loss of her baby Billy, a near-fatal car crash, and a relationship with criminal Callum Logan.

Currently on screen, Sarah Platt is dealing with family stress as her brother David's wife, Shona, remains in intensive care after the birth of their daughter. Sarah also recently helped boyfriend Kit Green foil a kidnapping plot by corrupt police officer Becky Swain, who is now behind bars.

Coronation Street continues to air on ITV1 and STV on weekday nights at 8.30pm as part of ITV's soap schedule.
