Bella Hadid's NYC Premiere: Red Carpet Glamour to Low-Key Departure
Bella Hadid at The Beauty premiere in New York

Supermodel Bella Hadid provided a masterclass in style transformation this Wednesday evening in New York City. After dazzling on the red carpet for a major television premiere, she swiftly swapped haute couture for a chic, off-duty look as she departed the event.

From Red Carpet Starlet to Suburban Chic

The 29-year-old model was a guest of honour at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan, which hosted the glittering premiere of FX's new series, The Beauty. The show is the latest creation from American Horror Story mastermind Ryan Murphy, and features Hadid in a starring role, marking a significant step in her acting career.

Hadid commanded attention on the carpet in a ravishing red floor-length gown, complete with sheer panels that highlighted her silhouette. The dress was a deliberate nod to the show's title and colour scheme. However, as the evening concluded, she emerged from the venue in a decidedly more relaxed ensemble.

A Swift Exit and a Theatrical Farewell

For her departure, Hadid chose a plunging blouse paired with a thigh-skimming minidress. She accessorised the look with black sheer tights, stiletto heels, and a pair of heavily tinted sunglasses. As security guided her across the sidewalk to a waiting car, the model acknowledged the gathered onlookers with a playful, theatrical blow of kisses before climbing into the vehicle.

This premiere appearance underscores Hadid's successful pivot from the catwalk to the screen. Her acting journey began with a debut on Hulu's Ramy in 2022, followed by a surprise cameo in the final season of Yellowstone. The Beauty represents her most substantial Hollywood role to date.

Inside Ryan Murphy's 'The Beauty'

The new series, which will premiere on January 22 and air weekly on Thursdays, boasts an impressive cast. It stars Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall as agents investigating a mysterious, sexually transmitted virus in Paris. This pathogen transforms infected individuals into visions of physical perfection, but at a terrifying, hidden cost.

Their investigation leads them to a shadowy corporation led by a tech billionaire, played by Ashton Kutcher, who has engineered the so-called miracle drug. The cast also includes Jeremy Pope, Anthony Ramos, Meghan Trainor, and Nicola Peltz Beckham. The 11-episode series was snapped up by Disney-owned FX and will be available to stream on Disney+ from its launch date.

Off-screen, Hadid, recently named the third highest-paid model in the world for 2025, continues to build her life with boyfriend Adan Banuelos in Texas, balancing her iconic modelling career with her promising new path in television.
