With The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 in post-production and not expected until early 2026, fans of the Netflix legal drama are looking for something to fill the gap. Here are five shows to binge-watch in the meantime.
First up is Bodyguard, the BBC political thriller starring Richard Madden as Police Sergeant David Budd, tasked with protecting Home Secretary Julia Montague (Keeley Hawes). Despite their political differences, the sexual tension is undeniable. With unexpected plot twists and standout performances, this 2018 series is a must-watch.
Another political thriller not to miss is The Diplomat, which has an impressive 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Following an attack on a British aircraft carrier, newly appointed US ambassador to the UK Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) must prevent war. Hailed as one of Netflix's most intelligent series, it delivers compelling drama across three seasons.
For legal drama enthusiasts, Suits is essential viewing. Spanning nine seasons, it follows gifted university dropout Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) who lands a job at a prestigious law firm despite never attending law school. The show also launched Meghan Markle's acting career. Unlike The Lincoln Lawyer, Suits has longer seasons with around 16 episodes each.
If actor Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is what draws you to the series, check out Pedro Paramo, a 2024 film adaptation of the legendary Mexican novel. Garcia-Rulfo plays Pedro Paramo, a father sought by his son Juan Preciado in a haunted settlement inhabited by spirits, blurring the line between the living and the dead.
Finally, Unbelievable is a 2019 true crime drama starring Toni Collette and Merritt Wever as detectives investigating a serial rapist. Based on a Pulitzer Prize-winning article, it follows Marie Adler (Kaitlyn Dever), who was sexually assaulted and initially doubted by police. Though a challenging watch, it's a significant one.
