Harry Potter Star's 'Unflinching' Film Pillion Lands on HBO Max

The dark romantic comedy-drama 'Pillion', featuring Harry Potter star Harry Melling, has found a new streaming home on HBO Max. The film, which also stars Alexander Skarsgård, was released in cinemas last year and is now available to subscribers of HBO Max, as well as those with Sky Cinema or a Movies Pass on NOW.

According to its synopsis, the story follows Colin, a timid man who meets Ray, an enigmatic biker who initiates him into a submissive relationship. This challenges Colin's mundane existence and prompts personal growth. Melling, best known for playing Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter films, portrays Colin, while Skarsgård plays Ray.

The film has been a critical success, earning a near-perfect 99% score on Rotten Tomatoes. One review described it as 'a bold, bawdy film told through small looks and big feelings', while another noted that 'kink isn’t an embarrassing detour for Colin — it’s how he comes to know himself'.
