Scarlett Moffatt, the former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star, has announced she is pregnant with her second child. The 34-year-old and her partner Scott Dobinson shared the news on social media, describing the baby as a 'miracle' after a difficult fertility journey.
The couple, who already have a son named Jude, revealed their joy in a heartfelt post. 'We honestly can’t believe we’re writing this... After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say… our family is growing. One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he’s going to be a big brother,' they wrote.
Moffatt has previously spoken openly about her struggles to conceive. During her recent stint in the jungle, she told campmates about experiencing a miscarriage while trying for a second child. 'We tried for a long time and had some losses... After Jude was born, we tried again and got quite far on and miscarried,' she explained.
She described the emotional toll of the loss, saying she and Scott 'laid in bed crying' and that she was 'mourning a life that you imagined.' In December, she revealed they had decided to stop trying after the miscarriage, saying she 'couldn't handle the heartbreak anymore.'
The couple now say they are 'so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock' about the pregnancy. Moffatt added that Jude 'is going to be the most amazing big brother.'
