Giuffre Family Calls On King To Meet Survivors In US

The brother of the late Virginia Giuffre has criticised King Charles III for failing to meet survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's abuse during his state visit to the United States. Sky Roberts made the remarks at a roundtable discussion hosted by Congressman Ro Khanna, who had written to the King urging a private meeting with survivors.

Roberts said survivors were 'still fighting to be heard' while powerful figures remained out of reach. The King's lawyers declined the meeting, citing ongoing police inquiries in the UK, though they stated the King and Queen 'consistently made clear their support for all victims of abuse'.

The scandal has particularly affected the royal family due to the King's brother, Prince Andrew, who was accused by Giuffre of sexual assault. Andrew has denied the claims and settled a civil suit with Giuffre in 2022 without admitting wrongdoing. He was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office over alleged links to Epstein.

Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025. Her memoir was published posthumously last October. The roundtable included Epstein survivors and advocates discussing systemic failures and potential congressional action.
