A 35-year-old woman has been taken into custody by Los Angeles police after multiple gunshots were fired near the Beverly Hills home of Grammy Award-winning singer Rihanna. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, with authorities confirming that no one was injured during the shooting.

Officers received a call reporting shots fired in the upscale Beverly Hills neighbourhood, according to spokesperson Officer Charles Miller. The suspect was apprehended without further incident shortly after the gunfire, and police recovered a weapon at the scene.
The woman has been booked on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently being held in jail on $10 million bail. The district attorney has not yet announced formal charges in the case.

While Officer Miller declined to identify the residents of the property, multiple local news outlets have confirmed it belongs to Rihanna. Public records indicate the Beverly Hills home is owned by a trust managed by Evan Jehle, who serves on the advisory board for Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation.
KABC-TV broadcast footage showing what appeared to be five bullet holes in the front gate of the residence. Police audio obtained by the station captured a dispatcher reporting: "Shooting just occurred. Ten gunshots fired from the vehicle."
