Brooke, who had an estranged relationship with her father leading up to his death, explained that by taking herself off the will in 2023, she has lost her "seat at the table" for decisions regarding his estate and legacy. "Do I regret that decision? Yes," she stated unequivocally. Her primary concern is the inability to access information, such as autopsy results, and to participate in shaping how her father is remembered.
"Taking myself off of that will, now, it's not the money part because I've never been about the money," Brooke elaborated. "It's more about just like... not having a say. I can't get autopsy results. And it's funny, because now people are treating me like I emancipated myself." She stressed that despite periods of silence, her familial bond remained intact: "Families have their ins and outs. It doesn't mean I'm not his daughter. It doesn't mean I'm not just as important as Nick," referring to her brother, who is the sole beneficiary of Hogan's estimated $5 million estate.
