Harry Winks in Angry Confrontation with Leicester Fans After Defeat

Leicester City midfielder Harry Winks was involved in a heated exchange with supporters following the team's 1-0 defeat to Portsmouth on Saturday, which leaves the Foxes on the brink of relegation to League One.

Video footage shared on social media showed Winks confronting fans as he boarded the team bus after the match at Fratton Park. The 30-year-old, who joined Leicester from Tottenham Hotspur for £10 million in 2023, has made 106 appearances for the club.

Leicester now sit 23rd in the Championship table with three games remaining. They face Hull City on Tuesday, and anything other than a win would confirm their relegation to the third tier for the first time since 2008-09.

Interim manager Gary Rowett expressed determination to fight until the end. 'We have to be professional. As a player, if I had three games to go and I was already relegated, I’d still want to win all three of those games,' Rowett said. 'It’s about pride and your own personal standards.'

The Foxes have lost 18 league matches this season, a stark contrast to their Premier League title triumph in 2016.
