90 Day Fiancé Star Eric Rosenbrook Challenges Official Autopsy Findings in Daughter's Death
Eric Rosenbrook, a personality from the reality television series 90 Day Fiancé, is publicly disputing the results of the autopsy conducted on his late infant daughter, Alisa Eleanor. The tragic death occurred last summer in Wisconsin, sparking a contentious investigation that has now escalated into a formal challenge by the family.
Private Medical Examiner Hired to Review Autopsy
Rosenbrook and his spouse, Leida Margaretha, have retained the services of a private medical examiner to scrutinise the findings from the initial autopsy performed by the Adams County Health and Human Services Department. According to Margaretha's lawyer, Taylor Hart, who spoke to the Daily Mail on Tuesday, the private examiner has directly challenged the agency's conclusion that the infant's cause of death was non-accidental.
Hart emphasised that Margaretha continues to deny any and all allegations of wrongdoing and stated unequivocally that she would have never harmed her child. The lawyer further revealed that the family's hired medical examiner believes the initial autopsy was poorly performed, raising serious questions about its accuracy and thoroughness.
Alleged Oversights in the Initial Investigation
In an interview with TMZ on Tuesday, Rosenbrook detailed the private examiner's findings, which indicate that Adams County officials overlooked essential steps and key details in their probe. He claimed that major routine steps were not finished, and specifically noted that a fracture on the five-week-old infant had not been clearly addressed in the initial autopsy report.
Rosenbrook explained that the private examiner cited an injury that might have occurred during the childbirth process, as Margaretha underwent a cesarean section. Additionally, a fractured rib mentioned in the report was possibly suffered while CPR was being performed on the baby. These points form the basis of the family's direct challenge to the findings of the Adams County Health and Human Services Department.
Family's Grief and Legal Context
Hart provided further context to the Daily Mail, noting that over the past two years, Leida and her husband tried desperately for a child. He described their journey as one filled with hope and prayer, but marred by multiple miscarriages and setbacks. Hart stressed that the cause and manner of Alisa's death remain unknown, and Margaretha is extremely distraught and still seeking answers for herself.
The lawyer portrayed the loss as a profound tragedy, with both parents actively grieving and requesting privacy, sympathy, and understanding during this difficult time. Hart also addressed the negative publicity surrounding Margaretha, stating that there are many allegations of wrongdoing being levied against Leida, which he attributes to years of unfounded attention since her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé in 2018.
Current Status of the Investigation
Despite the disputes, no criminal charges have been filed in connection with the infant's death, and the probe continues, according to the Adams County Health and Human Services Department. Rosenbrook told TMZ that the Adams County Sheriff's Office has not found Leida at fault, but he criticised Child Protective Services involved in the case, calling the agency the definition of fascism and remarking that they're a hammer and every parent is a nail.
In related legal developments, court documents reviewed by TMZ indicate that Rosenbrook will not serve any custody time for a charge of operating under the influence linked to a July 5, 2025 incident. He entered a no contest plea, with two linked charges dismissed, resulting in fines of $968, a six-month driver's license suspension, and mandatory attendance in an alcohol assessment program.
