Rita Ora's £4.8m Year & Glam NYE Prep: Style & Business Savvy in NYC
Rita Ora's £4.8m Profits & Glamorous New York NYE Hosting

Rita Ora has been commanding attention on the streets of New York City this week, showcasing a series of glamorous winter ensembles as she prepares for her high-profile New Year's Eve hosting duties. The 35-year-old singer is set to co-host Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve for the Times Square broadcast alongside veteran presenter Ryan Seacrest.

NYC Street Style: A Parade of Winter Glamour

Ahead of the main event on Wednesday, Ora has braved the freezing New York temperatures in a succession of stylish outfits. On Tuesday, she was spotted in Midtown wearing a chic grey wool jumper, a matching midi skirt, and towering grey knee-high boots. For evening, she switched to a dramatic leggy display, pairing black leather thigh-high boots with a luxurious white fur coat, accessorised with gold hoop earrings and sunglasses.

Her fashion parade continued into the night with a quirky brown checked jacket and maxi skirt combo. The previous day, Monday, saw the songstress make a striking impression at a press junket at the Times Square Ball. She posed in a brown fur coat with a plastic coating, a matching fur shawl, a brown turtleneck, nude tights, and stilettos, her blonde hair swept up in a beehive style.

Rehearsals and a Booming Business Empire

Between glamorous appearances, Ora was focused on work, wrapped in a long brown fur coat for rehearsals with the production crew on the city streets. Later, she changed into a sophisticated white co-ord set with a structured wrap jacket, smart trousers, and black pointed heels.

This flurry of activity comes as new financial documents reveal the impressive scale of Ora's business success. Accounts filed for Ora Live and Ora Multi Services show the star made a staggering £4.8 million in profits in the year to April. This equates to roughly £13,000 per day and more than doubles the £2.3 million profit from the previous year.

The companies handle her music, tours, extensive TV work—including judging roles on The Voice UK, The X Factor, and The Masked Singer—as well as lucrative advertising campaigns. This latest financial boost contributes to an estimated net worth of £31 million.

Beyond Music: Building a Diverse Brand

Ora's portfolio extends far beyond the stage. Her endorsement deals span major brands in fashion (Adidas, Primark), beauty (Rimmel), drinks (Próspero Tequila), and more. She has also ventured into acting with roles in the Fifty Shades franchise and Kung Fu Panda: Dragon Knight.

This multi-hyphenate career is a conscious choice. Speaking recently at The Red Sea International Film Festival, Ora discussed female empowerment and her refusal to be pigeonholed. "They tend to limit themselves as just one category and you don't really need to do that," she explained. "I see myself [as] an amateur everyday as I'm constantly learning. You should never walk into the room thinking you don't have power as you do."

As she takes to the stage in Times Square to ring in the new year, Rita Ora does so not just as a singer or TV host, but as a formidable and savvy businesswoman firmly in control of her brand.
