Brooke Shields and her lookalike daughter Rowan Henchy made a glamorous appearance as they attended an animal charity gala. The 60-year-old American actress was accompanied by her 22-year-old daughter at Animal Haven's Benefit for the Animals in New York City on Thursday.
Mother-Daughter Duo's Fashion Choices
Brooke stepped out in a black striped glitzy slip dress, paired with stilettos and a satin clutch bag featuring a silver buckle. Meanwhile, Rowan, who was honored with an award at the charity gala, opted for a one-shoulder tulle navy gown with a cut-out lace pattern and a ruched bodice.
Family Pup Joins the Event
The mother-daughter duo were joined at the animal charity event by their own pup Cluny. Brooke even brought along a pillow with his face printed on it.
Rowan's Career and Upcoming Show
Rowan was recently reported to have joined the second season of the Bravo series Next Gen NYC in October, with production expected to continue through the spring. The show follows a group of 'nepo babies' and other children of well-known celebrities as they navigate adulthood and careers in New York.

Brooke's Support for Rowan
Brooke has shown unwavering support for Rowan's career aspirations and appears to be actively encouraging her daughter's role on Next Gen NYC. 'She wants to go into broadcast journalism and news,' the proud mother told E! News in June last year. 'She's been at different outlets. She's done their carpet stuff.'
Brooke, who also has a daughter Grier, 20, with husband Chris Henchy, 62, said everyone tells her how much they love her daughter. 'She's so appealing as a person,' Brooke continued. 'I mean, I'm her mother, you know, but people love her, and they tell me all the time. They come out of the woodwork, like when I'm doing a morning show.'
Speaking about the advice she gives Rowan, Brooke added, 'I just say, "Never give up. Just keep going." She's going to be just fine.'
Rowan's TikTok Reference to JFK Jr.
Last month, Rowan referenced her mother's brief fling with John F. Kennedy Jr. in a video posted on TikTok. She was lip-syncing to Taylor Swift and Charli XCX's live performance of 'Boom Clap' from Taylor's 1989 tour as 'I wonder if JFK Jr was a good kisser' was typed over the video.
Brooke's Memories of JFK Jr.
Back in 2023, Brooke remembered the late son of John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy, aka the 'prince of Camelot,' as 'one of the best kissers' during an interview on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show. She revealed she had loved him as a child. 'I was so madly in love with him. Since the time I was like three, my mom [Teri Shields] would say, "That's the boy you're going to marry."'
Brooke then recalled the time she and JFK Jr. met during a skiing trip to Aspen, Colorado. 'We went out. I was invited with the family. He kept saying I looked like his mother, which was really interesting and a compliment. It was also like, "I don't know how to feel about this."'
Brooke admitted she was uncertain about going out with a man she had fancied for years. 'And then we did have a real date. And I wouldn't sleep with him because I kind of loved him too much,' she recalled. After the pair enjoyed drinks at a bar with his family, they jumped in a cab back to JFK Jr.'s 'chalet, hotel that he was in' before they shared a smooch. 'He kissed me, and it was like the best kiss I've ever had in my life. It was beyond not disappointing. The lips are beautiful, and the face is amazing, and the body and the person, and he was down to earth and funny and irreverent,' she said.
