Former Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly has successfully pivoted her career post-Glitterball, launching a new fitness clothing line with a celebrity-filled event in London's Mayfair. Her longtime co-host and friend, Claudia Winkleman, was among the famous faces showing their support.
From the Ballroom to Activewear
Tess Daly, 56, has officially entered the activewear market with her new collection, NAIA Active. This venture is an extension of her existing swimwear brand, NAIA Beach, which she runs with business partner and model Gayle Lawton, 59. The launch marks a significant new chapter for Daly following her iconic 11-year partnership with Claudia Winkleman on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
To promote the project, Daly hosted an exclusive workout class at V, a new luxury health club in Mayfair. For the event, she modelled pieces from the range herself, wearing a coordinated black and white sports bra and legging set.
A Star-Studded Show of Support
The launch event transformed into a celebration of female camaraderie, attracting a host of well-known personalities from the worlds of television, sport, and dance. Claudia Winkleman, 53, made a special appearance to back her former presenting partner, demonstrating their enduring friendship despite their separate career paths.
They were joined by an impressive roster of guests including former Strictly professional dancers Nadiya Bychkova, 36, and Oti Mabuse, 35, as well as TV personality Vicky Pattison, 38, Olympic champion Denise Lewis, 53, and singer Louise Redknapp, 51.
Winkleman took to social media to publicly congratulate Daly, posting: ‘Brilliant @tessdaly at the launch of her amazing @naia-beach activewear collection... it’s beautiful.’
Championing Women and Wellness
Reflecting on the successful launch, Tess Daly shared her gratitude on Instagram. She wrote: ‘Still taking it all in. So grateful to our brilliant friends who came to celebrate the launch of NAIA Active with us.’
She emphasised the collection's core ethos, adding: ‘Being in a room filled with women who show up, support one another, and bring such positive energy was incredibly inspiring and reflects everything this collection stands for: Strength, individuality, movement, and women championing women.’
The NAIA Active collection is now available for purchase, with gym tops priced at £69 and leggings costing £89. This launch solidifies Daly's entrepreneurial move into the competitive wellness and fashion market, proving both her and Winkleman are thriving in their post-Strictly endeavours.
