Eagle-eyed viewers of BBC One's The Traitors believe they have spotted a critical error by Traitor Rachel that could jeopardise her game. During the latest roundtable, Rachel revealed she had received FBI training before the show, a disclosure that fans argue may have exposed her as a Traitor.
On Reddit, a fan noted that the admission could be an 'ego-based mistake', making Rachel a target for murder by fellow Traitors. If she survives, Faithful players might question why the Traitors spared someone with such training. The fan also pointed to Rachel's earlier sly questioning of Ross about Hugo as further evidence of overconfidence.
Social media users echoed the concern. One X user wrote: 'If they didn't vote for Rachel after that FBI lie, they don't deserve to win a penny.' Another added: 'The secret Rachel dropped would’ve been a big red flag to me… like you expect me to believe you told Claudia you’ve been training with a FBI agent and she didn’t pick you?'
The blunder comes after Harriet sacrificed her place in the castle by accusing Rachel of being a Traitor. The remaining players must now decide whether Rachel's revelation is a genuine slip or a double bluff. The Traitors continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
