Reformation Partners with 'Queen of Celebrity Divorce' for Empowering Collection
Reformation, the sustainable fashion brand beloved by celebrities and brides alike, has taken a bold new direction with the launch of its Divorce Collection. This innovative range is designed specifically for women navigating the challenging circumstances of divorce, offering stylish and empowering pieces to help them look and feel their best during this transitional period.
Collaboration with Celebrity Divorce Attorney Laura Wasser
The brand has partnered with none other than American attorney Laura Wasser, the 57-year-old legal powerhouse who has earned the playful nickname 'Queen of Celebrity Divorce' through her work with A-list clients including Kim Kardashian, Angelina Jolie, and Heidi Klum. The collaboration aims to combine Wasser's expertise in helping women feel confident with Reformation's commitment to creating sexy, empowering fashion.
'Because she's really good at helping women feel sexy and empowered. And, coincidentally, so are we. In our new campaign with the acclaimed divorce lawyer, we're doing that together,' states the Reformation website, highlighting the shared mission between the sustainable brand and the high-profile attorney.

The collection features several standout items designed to make a statement:

'With a collection made for women who don't settle, in court or when it comes to clothes. Featuring sexy, empowering things, and a limited-edition Dump Him Sweatshirt, in case your friends keep asking you for relationship advice,' the website adds, emphasizing the collection's theme of empowerment and self-expression.
Laura Wasser's Celebrity Clientele and Divorce Insights
As one of Los Angeles' highest-profile divorce lawyers, Wasser has represented numerous celebrities through high-stakes separations, including Britney Spears during her split from Kevin Federline, Angelina Jolie in her divorce from Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp during his separation from Amber Heard, and Kim Kardashian when her marriage to Kanye West ended. She also represented Kevin Costner in his contentious legal battle with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner.
Recently appearing on Susan Yara's podcast My Life Online, Wasser shared expert insights into divorce and the primary reasons marriages fail. She identified communication breakdown as the most common cause of divorce, specifically highlighting the lack of effective communication between partners.
'A failure to communicate is going to be the biggest problem,' Wasser explained. 'Now, people are constantly evolving and sometimes they evolve in different directions. If you're able to communicate and participate in some kind of counselling, even before you get married, and get the tools that you need to deal with things when they may not be so great, I think that's huge.'
The Path to Resolution
According to Wasser, when couples can establish proper communication channels, many issues become resolvable. She emphasizes that both parties must participate actively in the communication process and recommends involving a neutral third party such as a counselor, therapist, or mediator.
'People have been able to talk things through with a third person in the room that has an objective opinion about things, and they've gone, 'Oh, well, maybe we can actually work this out,'' Wasser noted, sharing that she has witnessed couples reconciling even after completing divorce proceedings.
'I've gone through the entire divorce, written up a judgment, and a couple of weeks later they're like, 'You're not going to believe this. We went out for a celebratory dinner, ended up having sex, and now we're back together.''
The Reformation Divorce Collection represents a unique fusion of fashion, empowerment, and social consciousness, offering women stylish options during life transitions while supporting important legal services through its charitable component.
