The Duchess of Sussex joined Prince Harry as he served as best man for his friend Charlie van Straubenzee, who married Daisy Minks on Saturday in Frensham, Surrey.
Rather than opting for a lighter summer frock, Meghan wore a £400 Club Monaco Shoanah shirt dress, accessorised with a Philip Treacy fascinator, Aquazzura Deneuve bow pumps, and a Kayu Anna straw clutch. Her all-black ensemble drew immediate attention on social media.
Critics on Twitter questioned the choice, with one user writing: 'WHO wears black to a wedding with her top buttons undone showing a racy bra? Narcissist attention seeking Meghan Markle, she just can't stop herself can she?' Another quipped: 'So there wasn't a death?' comparing the outfit to funeral attire.

I just attended my Brother In Law's wedding in London and many guest including me wore black.'
