Maura Higgins and Megan Thee Stallion Stun at Milan Fashion Week

The Roberto Cavalli show at Milan Fashion Week on Thursday became a star-studded spectacle, with Maura Higgins and Megan Thee Stallion commanding attention on the front row with their daring fashion choices. The event, part of the Women's Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collections, showcased over 54 runway shows running from Tuesday to next Monday, but it was the celebrity attendees who stole the spotlight.

Bold Fashion Statements on the Front Row

Maura Higgins, the 35-year-old TV personality currently appearing on The Traitors US, made a striking entrance in a bold ensemble. She wore a striped satin slip dress layered with a dramatic matching trench coat, cinching her tiny waist with a belt and accessorising with a long necklace. Her look turned heads and highlighted her fashion-forward sensibilities.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion, 31, opted for a braless, semi-sheer animal print floor-length gown, which she paired with black underwear. The rapper completed her outfit with strappy heels and black sunglasses, exuding confidence and style. They were joined on the front row by other celebrities, including Coco Jones, who stunned in a metallic pleated gown, and Becky G, who wore a metallic top with animal print jeans and a trench coat, opening it to showcase her outfit for photos.

Maura Higgins' Blink-and-You'll-Miss-It Film Debut

Beyond the fashion scene, Maura Higgins has recently made her acting debut in the Irish comedy film The Spin, where she plays Rose, the onscreen girlfriend of character Dermot, portrayed by Brenock O'Connor. Despite having less than two minutes of air time in the 1 hour 32 minute film, her performance reportedly caught the attention of Hollywood executives.

In the movie, Maura's character appears early on, delivering lines such as, 'Ah there you are, did you play already?' and shouting 'play Coldplay' during a bar scene. Later, she adds, 'Ugh Dermot can we please just do it tomorrow because I've had just such a long day and I'm knackered. Yeah I've had just such a long day.' After an hour passes, she returns for just one more line, making her role a brief cameo.

Sources claimed last year that 'Everyone was talking about Maura and how great she was. She can act and people were impressed.' This has sparked interest in her future movie plans, even as her screen time remains minimal.

Plot of 'The Spin' and Supporting Cast

The Spin, directed by filmmaker Michael Head, follows two music-obsessed friends, Dermot and Elvis, played by Brenock O'Connor and Owen Colgan, who run a struggling record shop in Omagh, Northern Ireland. Faced with an unpaid rent bill and a vicious landlord, Sadie, portrayed by Derry Girls' Tara Lynne O'Neill, they discover a deal for rare, vintage records of blues legend Robert Johnson in Cork at a knock-down price.

With just two days to reach Cork, they embark on a frantic road trip across Ireland in a rusty Vauxhall, meeting locals and making new friends along the way. The film aims to save their shop from closure, blending comedy and adventure. Maura appears alongside Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt and other cast members, stripping back her makeup and sweeping her hair behind her face for a more natural look compared to her red-carpet-ready appearance at fashion events.

Other attendees at the Roberto Cavalli show included Clara, who looked incredible in a snakeskin catsuit, and Ellie Thumann, who teamed a plunging bodysuit with a gold velvet devore skirt, adding to the glamorous atmosphere of Milan Fashion Week.
