Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are adding another major ITV show to their repertoire, as the network announced the Geordie duo will host the UK adaptation of the family gameshow Holey Moley. The announcement was made during the 2026 ITV Showcase on Thursday, with filming slated to begin this summer.
What Is Holey Moley?
The format, which originated in the United States in 2019 before expanding to Australia in 2021, transforms crazy golf into an adrenaline-fuelled primetime event. Each episode features eight players competing head-to-head for the coveted Holey Moley golden putter, a green plaid jacket, and a fantastic prize. Contestants must navigate a supersized course filled with inventive obstacles, physical challenges, and comedic jeopardy, including spinning windmills, exploding obstacles, slippery slopes, and surprise hazards.
Ant and Dec's Excitement
Both Ant and Dec are avid golfers and expressed their enthusiasm for the project. Ant said: "This show is absolutely perfect for us. Anyone who knows us knows we adore golf, but you don't need to be a golf fanatic to enjoy it; there's something for everyone." The four-part series promises a unique blend of skill, scale, and comedy mischief, featuring passionate golfers ranging from professionals to keen amateurs. Applications are currently open and will close on Friday, May 15.
