Former reality star Zana Pali appeared to take a sharp dig at her ex-husband, Gianni Romano, during a question-and-answer session with her followers on Instagram. The 35-year-old, who appeared with her then-husband on My Kitchen Rules in 2016, responded with a firm 'no' when a fan asked whether it was possible to be 'friends' with a former partner.
'...Once I'm done. I'm done,' she continued. The lawyer and property developer, who shares two sons with her ex, added, '[You] don't keep [getting] access to me once I've removed you from my life.'
Elsewhere in the fan chat session, Zana offered more relationship advice after a follower asked, 'Do you think men can change?' 'They can, but not for you,' Zana replied. 'People change when they want to. Not when they're asked to. If you're waiting for it, you're already wasting your time.'
Zana's Previous Comments on Dating
The remarks come after Zana declared back in August that she was through with romance. The one-time MKR 'villain' reposted a video to Instagram in response to a question about whether she is currently dating. The clip showed Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz explaining why he has 'no desire to be with another human being.'
'So where are you from? Shut up, I don't f**king want to know where you're from, what you do,' he complained. 'I don't want to hear about your life. I don't ever want to do that again. Ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever!'
Hours earlier, Zana had reposted another meme that read: 'Uninterested, unavailable and physically repulsed.' She captioned this with: 'When they ask me if I'm ready for dating,' alongside a melting emoji, a vomit emoji, and a laughing-crying emoji.
Past Relationship and Recent Sightings
Back in July, Zana sent fans into a frenzy when she uploaded a photo of herself enjoying a getaway in Greece with what appeared to be a male companion. The image showed a sumptuous dish of seafood, alongside a man's hand wrapped around a mobile device. However, it seems any holiday romance has fizzled.
Gianni and Zana, a pair of lawyers who rose to fame on My Kitchen Rules in 2016, made headlines in July 2025 over their breakup. The pair's family home on Brighton's 'Golden Mile' — complete with a basement nightclub and lift access — sold in the middle of last year for about $10 million. The property sits on a stretch of millionaires' row that attracts Victorian socialites, with famous locals including Bec and Chris Judd.
Gianni and Zana made a name for themselves among the neighbourhood's glamorous elite when they moved in with their sons Leo and Romeo, now aged six and five. The pair wed in November 2014 on Hayman Island and went on to welcome Leo in 2018 and Romeo in 2020.
