Sydney Sweeney & Scooter Braun's 'Serious' Romance Blooms at Housemaid Premiere
Sydney Sweeney & Scooter Braun's LA Premiere Night

The Hollywood rumour mill was set alight over the weekend as actress Sydney Sweeney and music mogul Scooter Braun were spotted sharing an intimate evening at the premiere of her new film, The Housemaid. The pair, whose romance has reportedly turned serious, appeared inseparable throughout the Los Angeles soirée.

A Night of Intimate Moments in Los Angeles

Following the high-profile premiere, the action moved to the VIP afterparty at the renowned TAO restaurant in Los Angeles. It was here that Sweeney, 28, and Braun, 44, were captured in a series of flirtatious and close encounters. According to footage obtained by reporters, the actress was seen standing directly in front of Braun in deep conversation.

At one point, Sweeney closed the gap between them and placed her hands on his chest, a moment only interrupted when Braun pointed out another guest approaching. Witnesses described the couple as "inseparable the entire night, locking arms and giggling" as they mingled with other attendees.

Sweeney dazzled in a Marilyn Monroe-inspired gown for the main event before changing into a strapless mini dress for the afterparty, where she was joined by her beau.

From Casual Dating to a Committed Relationship

The pair were first romantically linked in September 2024, after being seen together at the lavish summer wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez in Italy. What began as casual dating has swiftly evolved into something more substantial.

Insiders close to the couple confirmed to People magazine that their connection has deepened. "Scooter and Sydney are going strong and things between them are great," one source shared in late November. "They're in a committed relationship and things are serious." Another added that the couple "have a lot in common and neither one of them cares what others think."

Their public appearances have supported these claims, including a PDA-filled date in New York City's Central Park in early November, just months after their initial link-up.

Premiere Focus Amidst Personal Headlines

The night was primarily in celebration of Sweeney's new thriller, The Housemaid, in which she stars alongside Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar. Sweeney plays Millie Calloway, an ex-con with a troubled past who becomes a live-in housemaid for a seemingly perfect couple.

Interestingly, Sweeney was previously engaged to Jonathan Davino for three years, with their seven-year relationship ending earlier in 2024. She was also the subject of fleeting romance rumours with her co-star Brandon Sklenar, though Sklenar has been in a relationship with his girlfriend since 2020 and was seen with her at the same afterparty.

The Housemaid, directed by Paul Feig, is set for release in cinemas on Friday, 19 December.
