Former Strictly Come Dancing hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman have been reunited in a heartwarming moment, just weeks after their emotional farewell from the BBC flagship show was broadcast.
A Joyful Reunion at Launch Event
The duo, who quit the programme together in 2025, came together for the launch of Tess's new clothing range. Daly has partnered with the brand NAIA Beach to create a collection of activewear.
In a photo shared on Claudia Winkleman's Instagram, the pair are seen beaming at each other, with Winkleman holding up a blue vest and matching leggings from the range. Tess was pictured grinning from ear to ear alongside her longtime friend and co-host.
Claudia captioned the post: "Brilliant @tessdaly at the launch of her amazing @naia_beach activewear collection. [Four heart emojis] it's beautiful." Tess replied in the comments, writing simply: "Love you [two heart emojis]".
An Emotional Farewell After Two Decades
Their reunion comes shortly after viewers saw their final, tearful goodbye during Strictly's Christmas special, which was filmed before their last live episode aired on 20 December 2025.
During the special, the pair shared a heartfelt hug and a dance. Tess addressed the audience directly, stating: "Thank you again for watching us over the years, it has truly meant the world to us."
In a joint statement released in October 2025, they explained their decision to leave, saying hosting Strictly had been an "absolute dream". They added: "We were always going to leave together and now feels like the right time."
A Royal Tribute to a Legendary Partnership
The send-off included several emotional tributes, most notably a message from Queen Camilla, read out by judge Craig Revel Horwood.
The Queen's tribute praised their unique bond, stating: "The warmth, compassion, and sheer happiness you have radiated with and from each other has been at the heart of the show's success... I think I speak for everyone when I say you have been utterly fabulous."
It concluded with the familiar Strictly refrain: "keep dancing". True to their earlier promise, the hosts did indeed become emotional during their final recording, marking the end of an era for the popular Saturday night entertainment show.
While their time on Strictly has concluded, both presenters remain busy. Claudia Winkleman is currently appearing on the fourth series of the BBC show The Traitors.
