Meryl Streep's daughter, Mamie Gummer, has reached a settlement in her divorce from Mehar Sethi. The 42-year-old actress filed for divorce from Sethi, 44, in February 2025 after six years of marriage.
Legal Proceedings
According to TMZ, on Friday, the We Were Liars star informed a Los Angeles court that she and her ex-husband are legally prepared to finalize the split. Gummer, whom Streep shares with ex-husband Don Gummer, listed the date of separation as May 6, 2023.
Custody and Support
The ex-couple share two children: seven-year-old son Peter and four-year-old daughter Mary. In her initial filing, Gummer requested joint legal and physical custody of the kids. Documents regarding the agreed terms of custody and spousal support have been kept confidential, as reported by TMZ.
Relationship Timeline
Gummer and Sethi got engaged in August 2018 and announced they were expecting later that year. They married in February 2019, and their son Peter was born the same month. Their daughter Mary arrived in 2021.
This marks the second divorce for the actress, who was previously married to Benjamin Walker from 2011 to 2013.
