Chloe Fineman Exposes 'Botched' Cosmetic Procedures in Candid Social Media Post
SNL's Chloe Fineman reveals 'botched' cosmetic surgery photos

Saturday Night Live comedian Chloe Fineman has sparked a frank conversation about cosmetic procedures by publicly sharing a gallery of images showing the bruised and swollen aftermath of her treatments. The 37-year-old star posted a carousel of photos to her social media, offering a raw look at the reality behind popular beauty interventions.

A Candid Confession and a Humorous Pledge

In a voiceover accompanying the images, Fineman humorously lifted the lid on the secretive world of aesthetic treatments. "Every year, hundreds of women will say they're going on a trip or visiting family in Connecticut," she said. "But really, they'll be going ham at a med spa doing crazy s*** like laser stuff, salmon j*** Sculptra plaster or whatever the hell this was."

She went on to describe how women often hide away during recovery, taking "hundreds of selfies" that friends and family dismissively claim aren't "that bad." Fineman then made a mock pledge: "This year, I pledge to stop the cycle." She immediately undercut the statement by adding, "Just kidding, I'm going Friday." Captioning the post, she asked her followers: "Can we normalize having a 'Botched' iPhone photo album?"

Mixed Reactions from Fans and Famous Friends

The post drew a wide range of responses. Several celebrity pals, including Lindsay Lohan, Lisa Rinna, and Spencer Pratt, reacted with laughing emojis. However, many other followers expressed concern, urging people to think twice about undergoing such procedures.

One commenter wrote: "Though this post and you are hilarious, I really wish people would ditch some of these procedures. This stuff doesn't necessarily make folks look better. Sure, they have less lines and brown spots, but they also look puffy and unnatural."

Another added: "That's really disturbing. Ladies, please don't do stupid things to yourself. Stay out of the sun, wash with a mild soap, avoid makeup, and you'll be fine." A third simply asked: "Can we normalize not doing this stuff, especially since it looks like it sucks."

Fineman's History with Cosmetic Treatments

This is not the first time the SNL star has been transparent about her experiences with cosmetic enhancements. In 2022, she told Popsugar about a mishap with a Fraxel laser treatment, a popular method for skin resurfacing. "I didn't know you're not supposed to rub off [the numbing cream applied beforehand], so I had a red scar across my forehead," she explained.

More recently, in an April 2024 interview with Into The Gloss, Fineman described med spas as a huge part of her life, calling her 30s the "peak med spa mistake age." She traced her increased interest back to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns. "When they lifted enough restrictions in LA, I was like 'This is the time to get Botox, because no one will see me for probably six months,'" she recalled. "But then I couldn't lift my forehead until right when we came back to work - and for comedy and acting, you want to be able to move your face."

By sharing her unfiltered journey, Chloe Fineman has highlighted the often-hidden side of the beauty industry, prompting a necessary discussion about the pressures and potential pitfalls of cosmetic procedures.
