Sharon Stone Celebrates as Son Roan, 25, Announces Engagement to Ukrainian Fiancée
Sharon Stone's Son Roan Announces Engagement

Hollywood icon Sharon Stone is celebrating joyful family news this festive season, as her eldest son, Roan Stone, has announced his engagement to his Ukrainian girlfriend, Anya Yevtushenko.

A Romantic Christmas Proposal

The 25-year-old actor and film producer proposed to 22-year-old Anya during a romantic holiday getaway last week. Roan shared the happy news with the Daily Mail, declaring, 'She's the most caring and beautiful woman I have ever met and I'm the luckiest man in the world.' He confirmed that his Oscar-nominated mother, 67, is 'happy' with the news and 'loves' her future daughter-in-law.

A friend close to the couple revealed the depth of Sharon Stone's happiness, stating, 'Sharon is over the moon. Family is the most important thing to her and she wants nothing but happiness for her children.'

Roan, who starred in the 2025 film Sugar Beach, marked the occasion on Instagram by sharing a picture of his fiancée's solitaire-style engagement ring. The intimate image showed the couple's hands intertwined on a bed adorned with rose petals and chocolates.

Building a Legacy Beyond Hollywood

Roan was adopted by the Basic Instinct star in 2000 during her marriage to investigative journalist Phil Bronstein. Following their divorce in 2004, a custody arrangement saw Roan live primarily with his father during school terms, a situation Sharon has described as heartbreaking. Despite this, mother and son maintained a close bond.

In a move to honour both parents, Roan petitioned in 2019 to change his surname from Bronstein to Roan Joseph Bronstein Stone. He has since carved his own path in entertainment, founding Sweat N Shadow Management and serving as CEO of Cahuenga Media Group.

Roan has credited both his mother and Anya as his biggest supporters, telling Hello! magazine, 'They really believe in me.' He added, 'I'm still Sharon Stone's son, but as life progresses, I've managed to carve out a career where I'm known for my business, not for my connection to her.'

Sharon Stone's Journey to Motherhood and Love

Sharon Stone's path to motherhood was complex. After suffering multiple miscarriages, she turned to adoption, welcoming Roan, followed by Laird, 20, and Quinn, 19, whom she raised as a single mother. She has been vocal about prioritising her children over her career, stating in 2023, 'I'm grateful that I chose motherhood.'

The actress has also spoken openly about her desire to find love again, telling The Times last year, 'This is the year that I want to fall in love - 100 per cent.' She described mixed results with online dating, humorously remarking, 'I didn't want to just go on Tinder and f*** somebody.'

Meanwhile, her new daughter-in-law, Anya Yevtushenko, has seamlessly become part of the family. The marketing professional, who left Ukraine for Canada in 2020, has won the hearts of both Roan and his loved ones. As the Stone family looks to the future, this engagement marks a new chapter of happiness for all involved.
