Sharon Osbourne has candidly confessed that a professional snub from years ago still stings, admitting she was deeply hurt after being excluded from the launch of a major make-up show she felt intrinsically linked to.
The 71-year-old TV personality revealed the painful details on her new TalkTV series, 'The Osbournes: Night of Terror'. The incident occurred when a prominent make-up brand, which had a long and lucrative partnership with her daughter Kelly, decided to launch a reality show to find a new brand ambassador.
'They didn't want anything to do with me,' Sharon revealed, the disappointment still palpable. 'They were doing a show to find a new make-up artist and they didn't even ask me to be a part of it. I was so hurt.'
The rejection was a particularly bitter pill to swallow given the Osbourne family's history with the brand. 'We had done so much with that company,' she explained, highlighting the successful collaboration that had defined much of her daughter's career.
Despite the initial hurt, Sharon's signature resilience shines through. She is now channelling her energy into her new venture on TalkTV, alongside her infamous husband Ozzy and their children Jack and Kelly. The show promises a no-holds-barred look into the chaotic and beloved world of the first family of rock and roll.
