Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and her fiancé Jason Statham have reportedly invested a staggering £25 million in a beachfront 'forever home' located in the South of England. The couple, who share eight-year-old son Oscar and four-year-old daughter Isabella, are said to have acquired the six-bedroom mansion in 2024.
Property Details and Renovation Plans
After paying £20 million for the property, the couple is now planning to spend an additional £5 million on renovations to transform it into their dream home. According to The Sun, the lavish estate spans 20 acres and includes its own swimming pool, boating lake, and wild swimming pond. Daily Mail has reached out to Rosie's representatives for comment.
Family's Move to a Slower Pace of Life
Speaking about the relocation, Rosie previously mentioned that the family—who also own properties in London and Cornwall—was eager for a more tranquil lifestyle after selling their £14 million Malibu beach house in 2020 and returning to the UK full-time. She told Hello! magazine about her children's passion for horse riding, saying, 'There's an incredible dressage school around the corner.' She added, 'I've been dreaming of this since I left home. It will be mud and kids climbing trees. London on the weekends can feel very destination-driven. I want peace.'
Recent Family Holiday in Turkey
The news comes after the family enjoyed a getaway to Turkey, where Jason shared a collection of snaps from the trip, including a dip in the pool. They stayed at the luxurious five-star Regnum The Crown hotel, where rooms cost around £3,000 per night. In one photo, Jason relaxed by the resort's Crystal Cove Pool with his children. He and Oscar practiced acrobatics in the water, with the youngster balancing on his father's shoulders. Meanwhile, Isabella showcased her swimming abilities in the clear blue water.
Relationship and Wedding Plans
The couple has been together since 2010 and got engaged in 2016. Despite the long engagement, they have previously insisted they are in no rush to marry. Rosie discussed their relationship in an interview, describing it as 'grounding'. She also praised Jason's taste in interiors, stating, 'Jason has the most impeccable taste. He taught me so much about architecture and furniture. He'll say it's been a nightmare. I love the interiors.'
On wedding plans, Rosie told ET: 'We're looking forward to that time. It's also not a huge priority for us; we're so happy. I think it will be fun to do it when the baby's grown up a bit and he can be involved in the wedding.' After becoming a mother, Rosie admitted she 'mourned' her former life due to the shift in identity. She told Net-A-Porter's PORTER magazine in 2021: 'I just remember feeling like the rug was pulled out from underneath me. I'd had all these years of being really independent, being able to come and go as I wished, being self-employed to a degree, calling the shots, and then suddenly having something that really anchored me to home life.'
