Peter Andre's Festive Family Christmas: Strict Rule, NHS Wife & Emotional Mum
Peter Andre's Christmas: Strict Rule & Emotional Mum

Singer Peter Andre and his NHS doctor wife, Emily, are preparing for a bustling, magical Christmas surrounded by their blended family, but they have one very strict household rule.

A Blended Family's Festive Chaos

In an exclusive interview, the couple opened up about their plans for the 25th of December, which will see their home filled with children ranging from 20-month-old Arabella to Pete's grown-up kids, Junior, 20, and Princess, 18. The day will kick off with stockings—a firm favourite for all the children, even the adults—before the family breaks with tradition by heading to a local restaurant for Christmas lunch.

"We usually prep lunch on Christmas Eve. Last year it took Pete and I four hours," explained Emily, 36. "So this might actually be the year I put on some make-up and a nice outfit instead of our matching Christmas pyjamas all day."

Peter, who was raised as a strict Jehovah's Witness and didn't celebrate Christmas as a child, said living the magic through his kids is "everything." He described their home, adorned with two main trees and personal decorations made by the children over the years, as having a "beautiful chaos" reminiscent of a Home Alone vibe.

The 'Rock' of a Marriage and a Strict Screen Rule

Celebrating ten years of marriage in July, the pair reflected on their strong partnership. "Emily has been my absolute rock through any tough times and the good," Peter said. Emily reciprocated, noting that Pete's name means 'rock' in Greek and that he is literally hers.

Amid the festive excitement, Emily is adamant about one family policy: strict screen time limits for their 11-year-old daughter, Millie. "She's allowed it for one hour on Saturday and one hour on Sunday, no social media, no WhatsApp and only downstairs," the doctor stated. "They don't have iPads or phones in the week. She doesn't even complain, bless her." Peter confirmed there are "no moody moments" from their tween.

Emotional Fears for a 'Delicate' Mother

The festive season brings a bittersweet element for Peter, as his thoughts turn to his beloved 89-year-old mother, Thea, who lives in Australia with his 92-year-old father, Savvas. Thea suffers from Parkinson's and dementia, and her health has declined significantly.

"Of course I worry this could be Mum's last Christmas. She's very delicate," he said softly. "Her speech is almost gone. It's heartbreaking, because she's our world." He expressed raw emotion over her condition, admitting he often prays for his parents' health despite not formally following the Jehovah's Witness faith since he was 16.

He finds solace in his parents' milestone of 70 years of marriage, celebrated in September, and hopes to fly to Australia after Christmas to see them.

Looking ahead to 2026, Emily has a new children's book, Periods: Everything You Need To Know, publishing in January, while Peter has written his first film, is recording a new album, and will tour in The Very Best Of Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons. But for now, their focus is on family, festive sparkle, and treasuring the moment.
