Nicola Peltz Posts Bardot Tribute Amid Beckham Family Feud
Peltz's Bardot Tribute Amid Beckham Family Rift

Nicola Peltz has made a pointed return to social media, paying tribute to the late screen icon Brigitte Bardot just hours after her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, notably skipped a close friend's wedding amid a deepening rift with his family.

A Tribute With a Hidden Message?

The 30-year-old actress and animal lover took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to share a throwback photograph of the French film star, who died at her home near St Tropez on Sunday morning at the age of 91. Alongside the image, Peltz posted a telling quote from Bardot herself: 'If I could do anything about the way people behave towards each other, I would, but since I can't I'll stick to the animals.'

This post is being widely interpreted as Nicola Peltz's second thinly-veiled comment on the ongoing feud between her, Brooklyn, and the Beckham clan. It followed another apparent dig over the weekend, where she posted a stylish selfie captioned 'Love being home' as she and Brooklyn remained in Los Angeles.

Brooklyn's Notable Absence

While Peltz shared her thoughts online, her 26-year-old husband was thousands of miles away from a significant family event. Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, did not attend the wedding of close friend Holly Ramsay in the UK this past weekend.

Holly, 25, the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, married Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, 31, at Bath Abbey in a ceremony attended by a celebrity-studded congregation. David and Victoria Beckham were present with their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper—all close friends of the Ramsay children. Brooklyn's absence was conspicuous.

It remains unclear whether Brooklyn was invited and declined or did not make the guest list. However, insiders suggest the Ramsay family maintains an 'open door' policy towards Brooklyn, making a deliberate snub unlikely. The two families have been close friends since the early 2000s, bonding after both relocated to the U.S.

A Rift That Shows No Signs of Healing

The wedding no-show is the latest in a series of absences marking the estrangement. The budding chef and his wife have missed numerous Beckham family occasions over the past year, including birthdays, parties, and holidays. The rift reportedly exploded when Brooklyn missed his father David's 50th birthday celebration.

The situation has escalated to the point where Brooklyn has blocked his entire immediate family on social media, a fact recently revealed by his younger brother Cruz, 20. While his family celebrated in the UK, Brooklyn shared a Grinch-themed post from Los Angeles, featuring one of his four rescue dogs.

The fallout has also affected Brooklyn's long-term friendship with Gordon Ramsay's eldest son, Jack. Once best friends since toddlerhood, the pair have reportedly not spoken for some time, with their bond unravelling after Brooklyn began dating Nicola. Jack, now in the Marines, was notably absent from Brooklyn and Nicola's vow renewal ceremony this summer.

As the Beckhams celebrated with the Ramsays, Brooklyn was pictured playing tennis in the States with American pro Reilly Opelka and Nicola's brother, Bradley Peltz. With communication severed and key events missed, the path to reconciliation for the Beckham family appears increasingly complex.
