Olivia Wilde's Quest to Move On from Harry Styles Amid New Romance Rumours

Olivia Wilde is reportedly struggling to move on from her split with Harry Styles, despite the pair insisting their breakup was mutual. Sources claim the actress, who turns 39 today, was deeply affected by the end of their nearly two-year relationship, which had been serious enough for her to consider relocating to London to be closer to the former One Direction star.

The couple, who met at a party for entertainment executive Irving Azoff, had an intense passion from the start. At the time, Wilde was in the process of ending her engagement to Ted Lasso actor Jason Sudeikis, 47. Production on Wilde's film Don't Worry Darling was just beginning, and after a dispute with lead actor Shia LaBeouf, she replaced him with Styles, 29. Friends noted their instant chemistry, with one telling Us Weekly it was 'only a matter of time before they got together'.

However, the romance faced several challenges, including Wilde and Sudeikis's custody battle and rumours of an on-set feud between Wilde and actress Florence Pugh. After being spotted looking tense on a night out in Los Angeles, Wilde and Styles confirmed they were 'taking a break' on 18 November. A source told People magazine that the decision was amicable, with Styles focusing on touring and Wilde on her children and work in LA.

Behind the scenes, Wilde is said to have been 'very upset' over the breakup. She flew to Hawaii in December to decompress and try to move on, leaning on friends for support. She has also focused on spending time with her children, Daisy, six, and Otis, eight, including a trip to Disneyland. In a positive development, Wilde and Sudeikis appear to have reconciled amicably, hugging after a meeting in LA last month. An insider told the Daily Mail that they are 'on very good terms' and have become friends again.
