Rapper Offset is currently in a stable medical condition after sustaining a gunshot wound during an incident in Florida on Monday evening. Law enforcement authorities have confirmed that two individuals have been detained in connection with the shooting, which occurred outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

The Seminole County police reported that the incident took place shortly after 7pm in a valet area outside the venue. Officers were on the scene immediately and contained the situation rapidly. A police statement clarified that the shooting resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual, who was subsequently transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood for treatment.
The statement further emphasised: "The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal." The investigation remains ongoing, with details surrounding the precise circumstances of the shooting still unclear at this time.
Offset's Condition and Career
A spokesperson for Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, confirmed to Variety that the 34-year-old artist was shot and is currently under hospital observation. "We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored," the representative stated.
Offset rose to fame as a member of the influential Atlanta hip-hop trio Migos, alongside Quavo and the late Takeoff. The group, formed in 2008, achieved massive commercial success with hits like "Bad and Boujee" and their acclaimed album Culture in 2017.
Tragically, Migos disbanded in 2023 following the fatal shooting of Takeoff in Houston in 2022. Offset paid a heartfelt tribute at the time, expressing unbearable pain and a shattered heart over the loss of his fellow group member.
Beyond his work with Migos, Offset has cultivated a successful solo career.
