Nadia, who made history as the first transgender contestant on the show, was still visibly bandaged and bruised from her facelift earlier in the week. However, that did not deter her from working on her tan while sunbathing in a skimpy floral bikini. The tiny two-piece highlighted her remarkable weight loss, having shed six stone since her gastric sleeve surgery last year. She completed her beach look by pulling her blonde hair into a bun under a black baseball cap.
Reflections on Fame and Identity
Last year, Nadia expressed strong views on a Supreme Court ruling that defined a woman based on biological sex. She described it as a terrifying time, stating, 'The whole idea that we are not a woman based on our sex is terrifying... It pains me that my identity is being questioned.' She emphasized that she lives as a woman first and foremost, and the ruling felt dehumanizing. Earlier this year, on the Remember Me? podcast, she discussed misconceptions about fame, saying, 'Fame equates to happiness? It does not. Fame is actually the worst side of being a public person.'
