Made In Chelsea Stars Evicted from £4 Million Chelsea Home Over Unpaid Rent

Ollie and Gareth Locke, the well-known reality television personalities from Made In Chelsea, have been officially evicted from their luxurious £4 million London townhouse. The couple returned to the property on Monday to collect their final high-end belongings, following a forced departure due to an outstanding rent bill of £25,000 that remains unsettled.

Mounting Financial Troubles and Eviction Details

The eviction process began last week, with the couple moving out of the four-bedroom, four-bathroom Chelsea residence they have rented since 2023. The £25,000 debt covers three months of unpaid rent plus additional fines, and the Lockes failed to meet a January 3 deadline to clear the amount. Insiders reveal that the pair have struggled with monthly payments for nearly a year, despite living in an affluent area near King's Road and maintaining a lavish lifestyle.

According to sources, the couple were warned multiple times about breaching their rental contract, with a final deadline set for January 30. After missing this deadline and accruing extra fees, they now face not only eviction but also the risk of bankruptcy, potentially impacting their two-year-old twins, who were born via surrogate in July 2023.

Luxury Belongings and Removal Process

For the move, Ollie and Gareth enlisted Davis And Mac, a removal firm that recently assisted Emily Atack with her relocation to a country home. During the final collection, a removal man was seen carrying a £2,000 Louis Vuitton holdall and a £1,130 Rimowa suitcase, loading them into a van. Ollie, 38, helped by carrying large shopping bags filled with items, while Gareth, 37, walked barefoot, carrying their pet dogs.

The townhouse itself boasts two en-suite bathrooms, a downstairs cinema room, and a leafy garden, serving as a backdrop for their YouTube series, Our Daddy Diaries. The couple has used the home to host their podcast, NewlyDads, though no new episodes have been released since February 2024.

Tenant Complications and Lifestyle Accusations

Complicating matters, the Lockes shared the property with a tenant who paid her rent directly to them. She later discovered that the money was not forwarded to the landlord and believes it was used to finance the couple's luxury lifestyle. This tenant, who had paid on time every month, now faces potential financial fallout and difficulty, despite being the godmother to the Lockes' children.

A source close to the situation described it as a falling out among friends, stating, "This is a simple case of friends falling out and a difference of opinion that has become very sad. It's all petty and is being resolved." The source added that Ollie and Gareth are working to repay the owed money and restart their lives in a new property.

Lavish Lifestyle Amid Financial Strain

Despite their rent arrears, the couple has continued to enjoy opulent experiences. In January, they jetted off to Barbados on a free Caribbean cruise with TOWIE's Lydia Bright, sponsored by P&O Cruises, even as their eviction loomed. They have also frequented high-end restaurants like Scott's in London and attended red carpet events, including the BAFTA TV Awards and Pride of Britain Awards, often in matching suits.

Ollie and Gareth married in November 2020 at London's Natural History Museum, becoming the first same-sex couple to wed there, with the ceremony filmed for Made In Chelsea. Ollie joined the show in 2011 and has since appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.

The Daily Mail has approached representatives for Ollie and the couple for further comment on the eviction and financial issues.
