Lily James wows in bikini snaps from Australian getaway

Actress Lily James has treated her followers to a series of sun-drenched snaps from her Australian holiday, showcasing her enviable figure in a range of skimpy swimwear. The 36-year-old star has been rounding off a busy year with a extended stay in Queensland, sharing her gratitude and excitement for the year ahead.

A Grateful Goodbye to 2025

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Pam & Tommy actress posted a reflective caption alongside her gallery of holiday images. "I spent the last part of 2025 on the beach, made a film and watched the sun rise with very special people," she wrote. "I feel very grateful and excited for a new year." Her posts showed her making the most of the Southern Hemisphere's summer, declaring she was not ready for winter just yet.

Pilates, Sunsets and Socialising

James revealed that her time Down Under hasn't been all relaxation. She has been keeping active with hardcore Pilates classes alongside learning scripts for future projects. The English actress also shared fun-filled snaps of socialising with friends, from picturesque sunset views in a semi-sheer dress to heading out for dinner in a plunging white outfit.

In one post, she declared she has 'never been better', posing in a leopard print bikini and later an off-white swimsuit. The collection of images painted a picture of a rejuvenating break filled with fitness, friendship, and sunshine.

On the Horizon: A High-Altitude Thriller

Fans won't have to wait long to see Lily James back in action. The actress is set to star in a reboot of the 1993 thriller Cliffhanger, scheduled for release next year. She will play Naomi, the daughter of Ray, a character portrayed by Pierce Brosnan.

The official synopsis reveals the father-daughter duo run a mountain chalet in the Dolomites. Their lives are upended during a trip with a billionaire's son when they are targeted by kidnappers. Ray is taken, and Naomi—still haunted by a past climbing accident—must escape, overcome her fears, and fight for her family's survival in the Italian Alps.

The film, shot across Austria, Italy, and Germany, also features a supporting cast including Nell Tiger Free and Franz Rogowski. Earlier this year, James was spotted looking cosy with her Swiped co-star Pierson Fodé in New York, though the nature of their relationship remains private.
