Kylie Jenner was in high spirits during a girls' night out with friends Malika Haqq and Yris Palmer at Sushi Park in West Hollywood on Friday, and the enormous diamond ring on her right hand certainly added to the festive mood. The 28-year-old reality star was seen laughing and playfully covering her face with her jeweled hand as the group exited the popular celebrity hotspot on the Sunset Strip.
Sushi Park is a known favorite of Jenner, who has dined there numerous times with friends and family, including her sister Kendall Jenner and boyfriend Timothée Chalamet. The beauty mogul, who treated her daughter Stormi to lunch at Manpuku Japanese BBQ earlier in the week, appeared to be relishing time with her gal pals.
Jenner made a point of wearing the bauble on the smallest finger of her right hand, leaving her left hand—and wedding finger—bare. The bling was complemented by perfectly manicured nails in a neutral shade. She looked chic in a tightly fitted black leather top and light-wash jeans, while her dark hair was styled straight and allowed to fall naturally around her shoulders.
The outing comes after fans blasted Jenner for seemingly undervaluing the importance of her children in a post about things she is grateful for. Her daughter Stormi, eight, and son Aire, four, with ex-partner Travis Scott, did not even make the top five. Jenner shared a mirror selfie to her Instagram Stories on Thursday with a gratitude list written across the screen. In lower caps, it read: 'coffee hallelujah, kris jenner hallelujah, spray tans hallelujah, birkin wall hallelujah, king kylie hallelujah, stormi & aire hallelujah, kylie cosmetics hallelujah, doing what i love hallelujah, 445 cc hallelujah, poker nights hallelujah, my cat hallelujah, drunk cig hallelujah, realizing things hallelujah.'
One commenter clapped back, 'The kids should be first,' while a second vented, 'YOUR children deserve better. Imagine in a few years time, seeing that your own mother picked her handbags and spray tan over you.' Another follower took aim by writing, 'Spray tans before her kids is wild. But tbh, I’m surprised she listed her kids at all.' A not-so-enchanted fan chimed in, 'She only listed them to save face, she DGAF,' as someone else cracked, 'I’m surprised the kids aren’t lower.' Still, the written fireballs kept flying, with one writing, 'OH MY GOD. This is honestly shocking. How unaware can you be to not only admit that but post it for the world to see. Spray tans over your kids?!!'
Weeks earlier, Jenner sparked similar outrage when she shared a photo of her pet cat, with many believing she considered the feline as more of an accessory. Last week, Jenner's world got even muddier when a former housekeeper sued for discrimination and claimed to have been 'belittled and humiliated' during her past employment. In court documents filed in Los Angeles on April 17 and obtained by the Daily Mail, Angelica Vasquez says she started working for Jenner at her Beverly Hills mansion in September 2024 before being transferred to the star's $20 million property in Hidden Hills a week later.
Vasquez says she reported to a woman named Elsi as well as the head housekeeper, Patsy, and claims she was 'treated with hostility and exclusion' by both. The former housekeeper, who says she is Salvadoran and Catholic, claims to have suffered 'severe and pervasive harassment' and says she was 'belittled and humiliated' because of her race, religion and national origin in front of other staff. She alleges that she was told 'Catholics are horrible people' while her immigration status was the topic of bullying. Vasquez claims that she was assigned the worst tasks, that she was often shouted at and deliberately excluded from the housekeeping team. She even alleges that, on one occasion, a supervisor threw hangers at her while reprimanding her.
Vasquez claims that she was 'berated' by staff who 'demanded to inspect' her phone and 'accused her of speaking negatively about them.' The former housekeeper claims that she resigned in August 2025 less than a year after being employed, and after her various complaints failed to be addressed. She additionally alleges that she has since developed 'symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder' and anxiety due to the bad experience. Vasquez is suing for damages over emotional distress and unpaid wages—and she is also seeking other punitive damages. While the discrimination claims are not directed at the reality star, and more so at her staff, Jenner is listed as a defendant in the lawsuit.
